About the author
My name is Aurore Colin
I was born in Paris and grew up in beautiful Provence, surrounded by olive trees and lavender. When I was 19, I moved far away to Normandy, in the north of France, for business school. After graduation, I worked in Paris for several years. But my life changed when my mom passed away. I left everything and started a new adventure that took me to the Caribbean and eventually to America.
Now, I live in sunny Miami Beach and love to travel, write, paint, enjoy nature, and explore other cultures.
A few years ago, I decided to go on a quest to connect with my inner child, creating a more compassionate and understanding relationship with myself. I turned to writing to remember my eclectic childhood and feel closer to my mother, whom I admired for her strength and dedication in raising two children.
Along the way, I really hope to help kids and parents learn about gratitude through reading. I wish for all of us to have the courage to move, change, and grow with each life transition.
